I have returned

So I was gone for a while. I don’t know how I found this website anymore but I forgot about it until today when I decided to go check out some of my saved passwords. I graduated in the class of 2025 and got into a nearby local university to study Software Engineering which is something I wanted to focus in for some time now. My dream was to actually major in computer science but practically every university/community college seems to have a thing against CS majors in this post AI era. At this point I don’t know why they even offer the major if they don’t want people to apply for admission to their institutions for CS and instead want to seemingly produce more computer engineers and software engineers. Anyways, I had this annoying professor in my first programming class, CSE 1310 (we use C the first year or so). My professor, Mrs. F, came from a very famous company that went bankrupt after being there 22 years and would get mad for our coding assignments if we didn’t write our code the way she wanted it done and once gave me a 0 on an assignment just because the order of some of my lines was inverted just a bit with the EXACT SAME results. She also gave us more work to submit after the first coding assignment because apparently someone cheated so she asked AI how to stop the cheating and the Copilot AI gave her the suggestion to ask for test cases, pseudocode, reflection questions, and proof of 3 errors and how we fixed them. She even said that if our code was perfect on the first try that it was impossible unless we used AI and that we should just make stuff up for the errors part. I got a new professor for 1320 because I want to actually make it through all 4 years of my undergraduate and not switch majors. My new professor for 1320 got a bunch of emails from scared classmates so she told us that she’s our friend and to not be scared to ask for help. I like her. She’s actually making learning this stuff cool again which was my motivation for preparing myself since 9th grade to get into any engineering program for CS.

I started posting back in April on this website called KamTape which looks like YouTube did back in 2007 and I have 63 subscribers currently. Most of my content is just me talking to my camera about random stuff on my mind. I also went to a World Cup match with my dad and it was fun. Right now, me and 2 other people in my 1320 class are working on a project to present a working game in C to the class so I’m going to communicate with them to figure out what game we’re going to make. That webring me and my friend Femi made when we were still in high school worked but it was a failure because no one really has personal websites in 2025 and I doubt they’ll have a site in 2026. My personal website actually got deleted from CodeHS with no warning but I think it was because I embedded some things from websites I don’t own which was mostly games I liked on the internet. Luckily, I had a recent backup of all the code on my iPad so I just moved it to GitHub. I haven’t posted to my website or this website in a while but I would like to continue again to document my undergraduate journey. Thank you to the owner for keeping this website alive and I hope whoever reads this has a good day/night. Bye Bye!
