To Stinks

So, I have been using peachesnstink for a while and I quite like it.

I understand that your main idea for this website is to create a website with self-moderation where users moderate themselves by having wishlists and blacklist of users but I don't think this would work well with a website line this where people come to meet 'new' people.

So, I was thinking of having a system where at first users can see posts from all other users but have the option to either 'blacklist' or follow them. It's quite obvious what 'blacklist' does.

I was thinking that there should be another feed that only shows posts from 'followed' users. This way, users can have both.
•A feed with posts from users they follow
•And a general (home) section of the website to meet new people.

Also, one more thing, there should be an option to filter posts by comment count on the homepage so users can read some juicy discussions.

I also have many other fundamental and quality of life changes for the website if you wish to hear.

Best of luck with you website👍

I think you are the first lurker to reveal themselves - congratulations.

There is only a whitelist, you can add users to it and remove users from it. There is no blacklist.

I don't want to show posts from all users. We must keep the whitelists in place because they set up all sorts of strange properties. For example, this site requires no maintenance on my part.

However, there are probably other features that will promote meeting people. These may be implemented in the future.

I hear you on the comment count filter - good idea.

Please, let it all out. The more feedback the better.

My biggest concern with this website is the inability to make the difference between a text topic and a link 🔗 to another place

I will fix. For other places I will display the domain name (e.g. cnn.com).

In the meantime, naturally you can see the URL upon rollover.

Sadly, I only have access to a mobile for the moment

I don't know if this is much of a help but on mobile you can long press the title of a post to see it's URL. Although it is quite inconvenient
