Matter

I recently read this book by Iain Banks. It's about 600 pages and it's the 8th Culture novel. This was the second time I read it. The first time was over 10 years ago, I hardly remembered anything from the first read. But this is a really good book. Most of the story takes place on a megastructure called a shellworld. To me the book is half fantasy, half sci-fi.
