I just launch a new version of this site, v3.1 aka snake!
Quick site history overview if you're new here. I started coding this project in January of 2020. It went live on Oct. 1st 2020. This is the 25th version. The last release was exactly one year ago.
Here's what has changed for this new v3.1 release:
- Direct messages. Users can use this to private/direct message each other. There's a new link in the site header called DMs. From there you can send DMs and see a list of users that you've DMed with. An unread DM count will show in the site header next to "DMs", and an unread count will also show next to each user on the DMs page.
- I added an API endpoint for getting sub posts.
- There were a couple other minor changes, you can see the full list on the GitHub changelog.
